
Walter Propps, SIOR, CPA
President
A former trucking company executive, Walter N. Propps began his career working in commercial real estate in 1964. He was Manager of Industrial Sales for the well known and highly regarded Shannon & Luchs Company until he left to start his own commercial development business in 1972. Since that time he has continued to develop, manage, lease and buy and sell all types of commercial properties. Mr. Propps is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and is honored to have been the 2nd person inducted into the Washington DC S.I.O.R. Two of his larger deals included successfully leasing half a million square feet to the Government Printing Office and handling 1,000 acres of land adjacent to Dulles Airport. He has developed a long list of buildings in the DC Metro area including the construction of a 180,000 square foot building for Parsons Paper Company and 50 acres in the Cabin Branch Industrial Center. He currently serves as an Advisory Director for Monument Bank.
